The client sought a sophisticated design for their project, emphasizing the need for an impressive exterior elevation and an inviting interior. Specifically, they envisioned an exterior made up of tiles on a rainscreen system, fluted GFRC panels, and bronze metal panels, creating a modern and durable façade. Inside, they desired a large archway marketplace fixture as a focal point on the sales floor. The overall aesthetic was to be enhanced with a color scheme of bronze finishes and black accents against white interior walls and ceilings, reflecting the "essence" of Joss & Main, a brand under their umbrella.
In response to the client's requirements, our team embarked on a detailed planning and execution process. The exterior elevation was meticulously designed with the specified materials, requiring extensive coordination with the general contractor, the rainscreen vendor, and Wayfair. The interior was crafted to bring the client's vision to life, with the large archway marketplace fixture serving as a striking centerpiece. Our successful delivery of this project, marked by a combination of aesthetic appeal and functional design, not only met but exceeded the client's expectations. This led to an expanded partnership, as Wayfair expressed satisfaction with our work and requested our assistance with test fits for other spaces and value engineering for their current brands, including Joss & Main and All Modern. This project also marked the beginning of a promising relationship with Wayfair, partly attributed to our prior connections with a former client.
